News Ireland – The Times & The Sunday Times, Ireland Case Study
In November 2015 Melanie was contracted to cover the role of Marketing Manager for Ireland for The Times, Ireland Edition and The Sunday Times newspaper in Ireland. The seven day digital offering The Times, Ireland Edition had only just launched and members needed to be acquired. Also the circulation of print sales needed to be maintained. New and interesting TTL campaigns and promotions needed to be created on a weekly basis also.
Working with Editorial and the wider Marketing teams in London the team acquired 7,000 subscription members in under a year and maintained circulation while recruiting new digital readers. Stakeholder engagement was key to this role.
